Let me introduce you to

In north-western Namibia
in villages such as this one,
if you drive far enough,
you may be lucky enough
to meet them.
But where are the men?

You will mostly only find women
and children in the village.
It is their village.
The men cannot stay there because they have to work. They live in the bush to take care of the livestock.

On special occasions they are allowed
to visit and,
if they bring enough presents,
to stay the night.
